We meet: First Monday & 3rd Thursday of every month...
We meet at 8.00pm on the First Monday & 3rd Thursday
of every month, including most Bank Holiday Mondays.
Venue: Burbage Methodist Church, Windsor Street, Burbage, LE10 2EE, next to the Burbage Fishery.
Membership is mostly errr... mature, we don't take ourselves too seriously, with interests in building, painting and talking about:
aircraft, armour, softskins, figures, ships, racing cars, & railways, in all scales.
Some of us remember steam-power, others work in engineering, & some in IT, we are a diverse bunch, friendly, & often supply tea, coffee & biscuits at the club nights, if we remember, not many of us do tweet or facebook, though some have learnt to text
Perhaps best-known for organising the East Mids Model Show, we have organised trips to Bovington Tank Museum, Duxford on MAFVA day, and a recent trip to MDC.
We often have Demo evenings, such as brass & PE soldering, resin casting, airbrushing & figure masterclasses.
